We started the research and development for the Enterpriser game in May, 2003 because we felt that there were many things we wish we had known when we were 14 - that successful people have a way of thinking and behaving that contributes to their success. We believe that to develop Enterprise Capability, students need to believe in themselves and think in a positive way. Only then can they grasp the opportunities that Education and Enterprise Learning offers.

Donna Shirley, Director, The Enterpriser Ltd
From a business background, diversified into education having completed a PGCE. Is currently Business and Enterprise Development Manager at John Kitto Community College.
Has worked as an Enterprise Advisor for 9 schools and freelance writing business-related teaching materials and worked in the retail and the restaurant trade in the UK and abroad before taking up a career in marketing and public relations. Has broad experience in the commercial arena, from working as the Commercial Manager of the City Football Club and for one of the five big accountancy firms.
Jackie Savage, Director, The Enterpriser Ltd
Has worked in education management and is currently Manager of an Education Business Partnership in Plymouth, delivering work-related and enterprise learning. The role involves engaging employers to enhance learning, managing budgets and staff and working with partnership organisations regionally and nationally.
Has worked as a buyer in manufacturing businesses and in education and training and has worked as LA Advisor and Training Inspector for The Training Standards Council. Is a qualified teacher and has a postgraduate diploma in Counselling in Educational Settings.
