Starts with students logging on to The Enterpriser at www.theenterpriser.co.uk

A fun and easy way to inspire positive attitudes and goals.
Can be delivered in a series of one-hour lessons (3-4).
Learners find out about how successful people think and what it takes to be enterprising.
They discover own personal skills, interests and how to start a Career Plan.
The Lesson Plan provides helpful information to run the programme and gives learning points that can be used to reinforce the messages in the game.

(B)

Starts with students logging on to The Enterpriser at www.theenterpriser.co.uk

An entrepreneurial journey which involves making decisions and financial calculations in 4 different business settings:

•  an Italian restaurant      •  a surfers’ lodge
•  internet shopping          •  a clothes shop

Students make decisions about products, services, pricing, costs, sales, marketing, finance, buying shares, assessing risks and managing and motivating employees.
The Lesson Plan provides helpful information to run the programme and gives learning points that can be used to reinforce the messages in the game.

‘Enterprise Thinking’ & ‘Enterprise Practice’ combined


(C)

The programme includes both A and B above, ‘Enterprise Thinking’ and ‘Enterprise Practice’ online site licences, plus additional classroom-based enterprise activities/materials.

A facilitator manual and CD Rom contain student materials that are related to a Cafe/Restaurant Challenge.  This includes cafe design, business plan, costing sheets, promotion and presentation.

The materials reinforce learning and are useful as evidence of work completed which could contribute to qualifications eg ASDAN CoPE.

‘Enterprise Practice’ and readymade materials for NCFE L2 Enterprise Award

(D)

This programme includes ‘Enterprise Practice’ online game site licence, together with Facilitator Manual and CD Rom containing materials especially designed to provide learning activities to help complete the NCFE L2 Enterprise Award (40 hours).  The materials include printed guidance, student fact sheets, templates and student tasks.
Schools will need to be a NCFE examinations centre and follow the award assessment requirements.

A CV: Step-by-step approach CV Builder





(E)

‘A CV’ has full guidance to help learners complete a persuasive CV.  Users identify their own qualities and skills and then use the ‘employer ready’ words to cut and paste into one of the CV templates provided.  A 7-step Career Action Planning process is also provided.

Other activities are included to help with job search and interview practise. These include: Information sheet for job applications; Job search; Job Application Form; and Interview Practise information.

All materials are provided on a CD Rom and can be networked or used on an individual PC.
